چکیده

Magnetic induction tomography is an imaging technique used to image electromagnetic properties of object by using the eddy current effect. (MIT) a non-destructive method that greatly in agriculture industry. This provided opportunity improve quality agricultural products. MIT simulation was for agarwood existence detection. paper presented system contains 7 channel coils receiver and transmitter which sensing detector. experiment aims demonstrate reaction induced density magnetic field at 10 MHz frequency. Then, it also determines optimal solenoid coil be better outcome system. The result shows diameter, length, layer have crucial role great performance field. more turns, greater strength permanent around coil. important needs considered verify effectiveness developing circuit design.

Induction Heating Process Design Using COMSOL Multiphysics Software

Induction heating is clean environmental heating process due to a non-contact heating process. There is lots of the induction heating type that be used in the home appliance but it is still new technology in Indonesia. The main interesting area of the induction heating design is the efficiency of the usage of energy and choice of the plate material. COMSOL Multiphysics Software can be used to s...

Simulation of Geomechanical Behavior during SAGD Process using COMSOL Multiphysics®

Steam-Assistant-Gravity-Drainage (SAGD) has become one of the most commonly used thermal recovery processes to extract heavy oil from oil sand reservoirs, especially in Northern Alberta, Canada. However, due to geological history, interbedded shales (IBS) in the reservoir act as barriers due to their low permeability and as such hinder the progression of the steam chamber. Cap-rock integrity al...

Modeling Microfluidic Separations using Comsol Multiphysics

Infrared spectroscopy can be used to identify and quantify individual (bio)chemical species within complex mixtures provided the spectroscopic fingerprints are strong enough. It is often the case, however, that the characteristic fingerprints are concealed by the much stronger absorptions of the most concentrated species. For example, in the case of blood serum, the very strong absorptions of p...

Using COMSOL Multiphysics® Software for Benchmarking Problems in Cell Migration

Modeling of migrating cells often requires sophisticated numerical tools necessary for solving highly nonlinear partial and ordinary differential equations in domains with moving boundaries. We have recently developed a novel conservative method [1] for simulating reactions and transport in moving domains, which combines an Eulerian approach with tracking an explicit boundary. The latter is imp...

Using Matlab and Comsol Multiphysics for Homogenisation of Composite Materials

The aim of this paper is to introduce a method for creating a homogenous substitute material for composite materials using optimisation algorithms. Composite materials are modern construction materials used, for example, in aircraft construction. However, numerical modelling of these materials is, due to its multi-layer structure, very difficult to compute. This multi-layer structure and loss m...
